HVS PRE-TRYOUT CAMP

For Boys & Girls (Competitive-Aged Players)


Hoover-Vestavia Soccer (HVS) is excited to host our Pre-Tryout Camp — a high-energy, high-intensity training experience for players who want to keep the ball rolling heading into tryouts, get familiar with the HVS coaching staff, and train in an environment built for players who want to compete at the highest level in Alabama.


Players will sharpen their technical quality, decision-making, and game understanding through purposeful training sessions and competitive play.


Program Details

Who Can Attend:

  • Boys & Girls (Open to players from any club)


When:

  • May 9–10, 2026
  • 6:30–8:00 PM (both days)


Where:

  • SHAC (Sicard Hollow Athletic Complex)


Why Attend:

  • Build momentum before tryouts
  • Train with and meet the HVS staff
  • Train and play in a competitive environment
  • Increase confidence and readiness for tryout week


What to Expect

Players will experience a camp structure designed to prepare them for the speed, intensity, and expectations of competitive tryouts, including:


  • Technical sharpness under pressure
  • Small-sided games to maximize touches and decisions
  • Competitive play and training habits aligned with HVS standards
