Hoover-Vestavia Soccer Announces Neil Macdonald as MLS NEXT Director

Hoover-Vestavia Soccer (HVS) is excited to announce the promotion of Neil Macdonald to MLS Next Director. Coach Macdonald has been an integral part of HVS for the past three years, bringing a wealth of experience from his 23-year career coaching at the NCAA Division I level. He led Mississippi State and Jacksonville State to notable postseason success during his tenure.

In his new role, Coach Macdonald will oversee all aspects of the HVS MLS Next program, representing North America’s highest youth soccer competition. The league features elite clubs nationwide, including MLS Academies and top-tier clubs, providing unparalleled player development and exposure opportunities.
