Hoover Vestavia Soccer Girls Program Shines at Girls Academy Winter Showcase and Championships in California!

This past weekend, our Hoover Vestavia Soccer Girls Program took to the national stage at the Girls Academy Winter Showcase and Championships in California, delivering an outstanding experience for our teams, players, coaches, and families. Traveling across the country to participate in this premier Girls Academy event, our program demonstrated excellence and proved we can compete at the highest levels in the nation.

Here’s how our teams performed:

• HVS 07/06 Girls GA: Leading the way for our program, this team achieved two wins and one loss, netting an incredible 15 goals with only three against. With a goal differential of +12, our oldest players showcased their ability to compete against the nation’s best, setting the bar high for the program.
• HVS 08 Girls GA: Our defending DPL National Champions faced tough competition, earning two narrow losses and a hard-fought tie against Syracuse from New York. They scored two goals while conceding six, showing grit and perseverance in every match.
• HVS 09 Girls GA: With a strong showing, the 09 girls posted two wins and one loss, scoring an impressive eight goals and allowing just five. Their performance highlighted their competitive edge and resilience on the national stage.
• HVS 10 Girls GA: The team registered one win and two losses, scoring four goals while conceding eight. Their effort and determination were evident as they gained invaluable experience competing at this elite level.
