Phoenix FC Joins the HVS Family!

We are thrilled to announce that Phoenix FC is now the newest affiliate of the Hoover-Vestavia Soccer (HVS) family!

Phoenix FC, founded by Emily Cross in 2013, has been a prominent soccer program in Montgomery. Recently rebranded in 2023, Phoenix FC aims to grow the game across the state with teams in Anniston, Dothan, Emerald Coast, and Montgomery.

Emily Cross shared her excitement about the partnership:

“Providing the Montgomery community with the best training while instilling a passion to play at the highest level has always been a goal of our program. Partnering with HVS will allow our local high-level players to receive quality training, while HVS can provide incredible competitive opportunities. This is a great opportunity for the Montgomery community.”

HVS Director Mike Getman also expressed his enthusiasm:

“We know there are many talented players in the Montgomery area, and we are thrilled to partner with Phoenix FC. This is a win-win for both organizations.”

Phoenix FC is the eighth club to join the HVS network, alongside Union 10 in Mobile, NOW FC in Huntsville, Pell City FC, Anniston Storm, North Star Soccer, and the two founding members—Hoover Soccer Club and Vestavia Hills Soccer Club.

Welcome to the family, Phoenix FC! We look forward to a bright and successful partnership.
