Robert Starr has been a mainstay in Alabama soccer for decades. As an assistant coach at UAB, he helped the program win its first-ever C-USA Championship in 1994. He’s coached at the collegiate, high school, and youth levels, winning multiple state titles at Spain Park High School. He was a standout goalkeeper at UAB, where he still holds several records.
