The Director’s Cut, 2021/22, Vol. 4
Our boys NPL teams have been making great progress as they went 4-3-0 this past weekend. Our boys MLS NEXT teams have gone 6-5-1 in the past two weeks with three of our teams currently undefeated and sitting in 1st place in the league!
Our girls are 4-2-3 in DPL play and are coming off a bye weekend. Our 2004/03 Girls are currently tied for 1st in the league. We should be fully rested as we prepare for games at SSA in Atlanta this weekend.
We held our annual Town Hall – Health Check via Zoom this past week and had good attendance once again as Dr. Bruns & Dr. Poole provided lots of valuable information on COVID and how to keep your soccer player healthy. Our next HVS Symposium is coming up on Monday, Sept. 27 at 6:00 PM. We will hold our Boys College Night with HVS DOC & College Liaison, Mike Getman leading the presentation. All players 2007 – 2003 are invited to learn more about the college recruiting process and what you can do to improve your odds of being recruited by your favorite colleges. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend as well.

Look for other upcoming Symposium Series events in the next few weeks. We will be hosting “Bigger-Stronger-Faster” in mid-October and Sport Psychology/Mental Prep at the end of October. We will also have a 2nd Sports Nutrition seminar scheduled for November.
